A particularly charming holiday house with a great location on the island of Radøy. This lovely cottage of high standards has a sauna, a whirlpool on the terrace, a well equipped kitchen, satellite dish and more. The cottage is suitable for 2 families traveling together. 35 m² large terrace with barbecue and outdoors furniture. Large bathrooms with heated floors on both storys. You can access the terrace directly from the living room, where you will find a barbecue. A part of the terrace is covered, and there you will find a large whirlpool. Especially in winter it is wonderful to sit in the 39 degree water and enjoy the magnificent view. Afterwards you can go directly into the bathroom and relax in the sauna. The area around the cottage is hilly with trees and heather. Radøy has a lush and beautiful nature, and you can visit "Tjorehagen" - a unique garden with over 300 rhododendron species and exotic trees and bushes. There are many walking trails on the island with maps and descriptions along the way. You are only 1 hour drive away from Bergen and the island is connected to the mainland through bridges. The fishing conditions here are excellent, and you can catch cod, coalfish and mackerel. You can use the charts to navigate the sea. The archipelago here offers many small bays where you can go swimming. There are many good trout lakes on the island. You can rent motorboats in a harbour 100 meters away - must be requested well in advance. Life jackets included. Fishing equipment is available for rent. A shared fish smoker. A 90 m² shared fish cleaning room with lighting and running water. Store your fishing equipment in the storage room. Before June 1st and after September 6th you can rent the cottage from Friday to Friday. Canoe available at NOK 200 per day. NB! Book the motorboats at the same time as you book the house, then the chances are higher that we can confirm the boats you want.
