Welcome to celebrate your holiday in this beautiful wooden house in the middle of central Örby in Marks municipality. The house is located high and with sun almost all day. The house has been carefully renovated over a few years and has retained the old authentic feel that you can only get in an older house. A classic Swedish wooden house in the spirit of the 30s.
On the middle floor, which is the house's entrance, there is a kitchen and living room with dining room, upstairs you have 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with shower, one room with a 180cm bed, the second bedroom has a 120cm bed and a 90cm single bed. On the ground floor there is a nicely furnished basement with a toilet and a comfortable sofa that can easily be converted into a 120cm sofa bed.
On the outside, there is plenty of space to socialize on the large grounds, here you can play football, enjoy flowers, birds and discover many exciting insects. On the large terrace you can enjoy the morning's hot drink or today's grilled dinner and watch the sun set over the trees.
With only a 1km walk you will reach a beautiful sandy beach and a refreshing swim in Lake Hanatorpsjön. In this area Hanatorps Camping connects and here you can rent sup/paddleboards. There is also a kiosk that sells simple food and, of course, ice cream. As well as a Thai restaurant that is open during the summer.
Anyone interested in textile industrial history should definitely visit Rydal. A well-preserved mill community, classified as national interest and built around one of Sweden's first spinning mills.
Mark's golf club is 2.9 km from the house, here you can play scenic golf on courses with great variety if you feel like it. With only a 20-minute drive, you can get to the central town of Borås. Here there are both great shopping opportunities, a large selection of restaurants and cafes, but also fun activities for both young and old adventurers. Experience wild animals at Borås Zoo, exciting experiments, climbing adventures and much more.
Warm welcome!
