Casa de vacaciones en Västervik

This delightful holiday home is set outside of the village of Odensvi on the coast of Småland. Idyllic and traditional, yet offering modern comforts, this is a great place for a family. The area offers a lot of fun and entertainment for families with small children.

The house features a spacious entrance hall and two family rooms, both located on the bottom floor. One of the family rooms features a large, comfortable dining area, the other features a sofa and opens into the lovely conservatory. This is a wonderful place to dine or to just relax with a cup of tea. The well-equipped kitchen is modern and features a little kitchen table and a dish washer. The bathroom features a WC and a shower. Washing machine included.

A winding staircase will take you up to the second floor with it's three large bedrooms. The master bedroom features a double bed. The second bedroom contains a single bed and leads through to the third bedroom with it's two single beds. The house features a fireplace and two wood burning stoves, wood is included in the rent. There is also a carport.

Fruit trees and a large, beautiful lawn surround the house. It is set rather high and offers a lovely view of the open landscape. The nearest neighbour lives a kilometre away. The forest is right next to you, offering berry picking, mushrooming and animal sightings (elk, deer, fox etc). It's a quick three-kilometre drive to the public beach with it's shallow water, sandy beach, bathing dock and bathing ladder. The coast is about 22 kilometres away, should you feel like swimming in the sea. Småland is known for it's scenic nature with big forests and many lakes. Don't forget to visit the lovely town Västervik which is only 35 kilometres away. The children will really enjoy Astrid Lindgren's World, also circa 35 kilometres away. Katthult and Bullerbyn, well known from Astrid Lindgren's beloved children's books, are also close. Or why not take a daytrip to Mariannelund and find out how sweets were made in the olden days?

Please note: The lake cannot be seen from the house. No dogs, please!
