Welcome to this charming two-storey cottage, situated on a forest plot in between Osby and Vittsjö, in beautiful Skåne.

The holiday home has a kitchen with a functioning wood stove as well as an electric stove/oven. The kitchen has the basic amenities, a dining table, and a baby chair. Next to the kitchen, there's a bedroom with a comfortable double bed. In the living room, there's a dining table, a wood-burning stove, a sofa, and a double sofa bed. The living room also features armchairs, a TV, and a DVD-player.

A steep set of stairs will take you to the upper floor, where you will find an interesting piece of furniture: an old “beggar's bench”. In the olden days people would place such a bench outside of their homes to signal that homeless beggars, who often travelled around the countryside, were welcome to knock on the door, for a bite to eat and a bed for the night. The upper floor has one bedroom with a double bed and one bedroom (without a door) with two single beds. There is also a loft with a single bed.

A path leads from the garden to the river Vieån. There are lanterns in the house in case you want to bring them down to the river after dark, and enjoy the peace and quiet of the evening. Fishing possibilities. The walking/ hiking trail Skåneleden passes by the house.

The small town of Osby is 20 kilometres away, offering some shops and the Brio toy museum. The child-friendly beach, with shallow water and a bathing dock, is only 3.5 kilometres away. Golfers will enjoy the 18-hole golf course at Vittsjö GK, 4 kilometres away. The cave Tygarpsgrottan is about 30 kilometres away and also worth a visit. You will find a binder in the house, with information about interesting sights and activities in the area.
