In the heart of charming Østerby, on a peaceful little cul-de-sac, you’ll find this lovely summer house – the perfect setting for your next family holiday. Originally built in 1960 and carefully renovated, it now appears as an inviting and newly refurbished gem, combining classic summer house charm with modern comfort.

Inside, you’re welcomed by light, soft tones in beautiful sand and earth shades that create a calm and harmonious atmosphere. There’s room for everyone – the house offers four delightful bedrooms with a total of eight beds, one of which has its own entrance, ideal for family members wanting to enjoy evenings out without disturbing the rest.

The heart of the house is the spacious open-plan kitchen and living area, where impressive windows and multiple patio doors flood the space with natural light. Here, the family chef can work magic in the large kitchen while the kids play games at the dining table or relax in the cozy sofa corner – all in a space designed for togetherness and hygge. The bathroom is large and luxurious, featuring a generous shower perfect for long, relaxing rinses after a day at the beach.

Outside awaits a fantastic south-facing terrace where you can enjoy the sun all day long. You’ll find plenty of comfortable garden furniture and a grill just calling for cozy barbecue evenings under the open sky.
The location could hardly be better – just a short walk from Sønderstrand beach and the iconic Vippefyr lighthouse, the house is nestled in the heart of idyllic Østerby, where peace and quiet set in as soon as you turn down the street. Here you can fully unwind, let the kids play safely, and enjoy your holiday days in a gorgeous summer house that promises unforgettable family memories.

At the Vippefyr, thousands of happy people gather every year on Midsummer’s Eve (June 23rd) to celebrate the summer solstice by the glow of the Skt. Hans bonfire – an evening you won’t want to miss. Expect a fantastic atmosphere, speeches, a large bonfire, music, and of course the singing of Holger Drachmann’s “Midsummer Song” (“Erindring”).
