A spacious house with room for a large group. Guests have access to a rowboat and free pike and perch fishing in the adjacent small lake, *Dammen* (subject to agreement with the owner). Electricity is included.
The living room features a very large dining table where everyone can sit and eat together. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need, including a dishwasher, microwave, stove/oven, and fridge/freezer. The ground floor has two bedrooms: one with a double bed and the other with a bunk bed sleeping two. A washing machine and a toilet are also located on the ground floor.
In the evenings, it is lovely to light a fire in the living room fireplace and perhaps listen to stories about when Grandpa was young. Or, once the children have fallen asleep, it offers a chance to simply sit and talk about life’s big and small moments. The living room also has a TV with free Swedish channels.
Just outside the kitchen, there is a covered, furnished patio—perfect for long, leisurely breakfasts. There is also a second deck, ideal for enjoying beautiful summer evenings. A barbecue grill is available in the garden.
Two rather steep staircases lead to the upper floor, which houses a bedroom with a double bed and another room with two single beds. Each room has a balcony overlooking *Kvarndammen* and the beautiful meadows. There is also a bathroom with a shower and toilet on this floor.
A swimming area is located just 50 meters from *Mjölnarhuset*, making it easy to take a dip before breakfast or enjoy a refreshing evening swim. From the swimming area, you can watch cows and their calves grazing peacefully in their pasture beneath large oaks and ancient ash trees. Since the easiest way to enter the water is via the jetty, this swimming spot is best suited for adults and older children who can swim. If you are looking for a great family-friendly swimming spot, Serarpabadet in Näshult is just 3 km away and features a sandy beach, a jetty, and a diving tower.
