Small and cozy appartment in the old part of Sæby.
You'll find this appartment in the older and charming centrum of Sæby. The appartment has a beautiful view to Kattegat and is a stone's throw from the beach, shopping opportunities and the marina.
The appartment is modern and well kept. The roomy appartment is well-appointed, with a bright inflow of light in the living room. The dinning area is in the living room as well as a sofabed. There are also a double bed in the master bedroom, where you'll also find a lot of closet space.
You'll have access to the fenced garden, which you share with the house's owner. Here you can relax in the lovely summer evenings and if you travel with children, they can play and roam around in the garden.
The rent includes heating.
The appartment is central located, near the town centrum and the marina. Here you can enjoy the maritime atmosphere and admire the beautiful sailing ships, while eating ice cream or enjoying a cup of coffee. There are plenty of resturants and cafés where you can enjoy a meal. There are also plenty of grocery shops, if you want a quiet evenning in the appartment. The town of Sæby is around 500 years old. There are a lot of beautiful houses in the old part of town, where the appartment also is located, as well as the former monastery church from 1400 with its fresco paintings. You can also experience Sæby as it was around 1900 in Sæby Miniby (Miniature town). The old water mill and the many artisans, is also a visit worthy.
If you enjoy a round of golf, then visit the 18-holes golf course at Sæbygaard Slot (Sæbygaard Castle). Even if golf is not for you, the beautiful Sæbygaard Slot is worth a visit.
The town of Frederikshavn is only a short drive from Sæby. Here you can visit the beautiful Bangsbo area, with its museum, botanical garden and nature trails. You can also experience Krudttårnet (The gun powder tower) and the towns many venues. Further north, about a hour from Sæby, you'll find Skagen. Here you can experience Grenen (The Northern Tip of Denmark), Den Tilsandede kirke (The sand buried church) and the art musuems of Skagen, where the famous Skagens painters are exhibited. You can also visit the largest aqaurium in Northern Europe, Nordsøen Oceanarium, on the west coast of North Jutland.
