Marradi is a small, ancient village in the Tosco-Romagnolo Apennines, that lies on the "Antica via del Grano e del Sale" (antique route of Cheese and salt) route that once linked the Republic of Florence with the Romagna area. Surrounded by beautiful landscapes, the centre of the village hosts several noble palaces which are a proof of the ancient magnificient history of Marradi. In the center tourists can admire a lot of churches and museums, furthermore the area offers several trails that you could cover by foot, by bike or on horseback.
