Charming and beautifully furnished holiday apartment situated at the historical Niels Skiverens Gaard. Incredibly beautiful, lots of light, amazing atmosphere and furnished in lovely bright colours.
The apartment is 78 m2 which is devided between 2 storyes. The ground floor featurse a cozy kitchen with dining area, bedroom with a doublebed, a smaller bedroom with a bunk bed along with a bathroom with own shower and toilet. On the 1st floor, you will find a lovely, spacious living room with a big corner sofa, television, extra dining table along with a sofa bed (140 x 200 cm) fit for 2 people. In front of the apartment there is a small courtyard with patio furniture where you can sit and enjoy the sun.
Belonging to Niels Skiverens Gaard is a big plot of natural land which you, as guests, are free to use for instance for sport activities, playing and flying with kites. As a guest at Niels Skiverens Gaard you are more than welcome with use the many facilities available at Skiveren Camping such as; minigolf, wellness and the swimmingpool.
The North Sea Oceanarium in Hirtshals is only a 30 minute drive from the apartment and Skagen city centre is just a 25 minute drive away. Skagen offers a wide range of activities such as visiting art museums, the marina, The Sandburied Church, Grenen where Kattegat and Skagerrak meet, or simply enjoying an ice cream or lunch in one of the city's many restaurants and cafés. Skagen also has a wide selection of retail stores which makes it ideal for shopping.
Skiveren offers several possibilities for biking both along the smaller roads or biking paths, but also on the beach if you have a mountainbike. We recommend taking the bike, or car if the weather does not allow of biking, to Tversted and enjoy an ice cream at the Blå Ishus (Blue Icehouse) at the beach and make a visit to Ørnereservatet EagleWorld and learn a thing or two about birds of prey. A trip to Sørig Gl. Skole at Tuen is also very much worth a visit. The old school houses are today used by ceramist Dorthe Hansen who has her workshop, store and café there. Here you can enjoy the loveliest homemade cakes with steamning cup of coffee or whatever you might fancy. The café opens in Easter and until the school's autumn holiday.
For those who enjoy a round of golf, the area offers several possibilities for enjoying the sport. The club Golfklubben Hvide Klit is no more than a 12 minute drive from Skiveren and within a 30 km radius fromt the apartment you can find Hirtshals Golfklub, Hjørring Golfklub, Sindal Golfklub, Frederikshavn Golfklub and Sæby Golfklub.
