Welcome to this Öland idyll at Solliden / Borgholm on beautiful Öland. In the house there are bedrooms with two single beds, a bright and fresh room with windows from two different directions. Open kitchen with everything you need to be able to prepare your meals and two windows in each direction that give a feeling of space. The dining room is adjacent to the kitchen where the house's guests can have space for a table. In the living room there is a recliner and sofa as well as a TV where you can relax for a while. There is also a sleeping loft with sloping ceilings if you want to use it with two single beds. From one side of the house you go out to the cozy patio which is completely private and is well suited to sit by and have breakfast on a nice summer morning. From the back of the house you have a large plot with an annex that is well equipped with two single beds and seating and a small porch that is well suited for those traveling with slightly older children or perhaps father or grandparents who may have their own place there.

On the plot there is also a storage room where there is an extended patio with barbecue where you can grill something good to eat or enjoy your coffee in wonderful sunshine. If you feel that it gets a little hot with the sun's rays, there is a nice lilac arbor where you can sit in a little shade or by the large tree which also provides cooling shade. So here are many nice places in the garden that the owner fixed to nice patios.

About 600 m from the house along the gravel road you come to the bathing place, a very nice place to take a dip. If you want a larger bathing place with a long beach, it is available in Köpingsvik. In the immediate area is Solliden where Sweden's royals have their summer place and the castle café which is well worth a visit. If you travel with children, you may want to take a trip to Öland Zoo, which invites you to sights and adventures for the whole family. There are many nice strawberry places to visit on Öland.
