The cottage has an open floor plan in the living room, here is a sofa group by the TV for pleasant company. Fireplace is available to enjoy on chilly evenings and dining area near the modern open kitchen and exit to the large terrace which faces south.

Two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one room with a bunk bed and a single bed. There is also an extra bed in the form of a folding bed that you can place in one bedroom or in the living room. The cottage has decorated details that should be on a knot-timbered cottage in Dalamiljö, i.a. a beautiful railing around the terrace and the stair railing.

The whole cottage has underfloor heating and is bright and nicely decorated. The rent includes a canoe for two people with which you can glide silently along the shoreline. An unbeatable way to experience Lake Siljan and its nature.

Here you live only a few km from the small village Vikarby and within easy driving distance, from a few minutes to an hour, you have to the Dala metropolises Leksand, Rättvik, Mora and Orsa with a large selection of different cultural events, museums, zoo (Orsa Björnpark ), trade, cafes, restaurants, etc. Only a few miles away you have Dalhalla, which i.a. described as one of the most powerful and beautiful outdoor arenas in Europe for theater, concert and opera performances.

Regardless of the season, this area is always worth a visit as summer time offers fantastic forest walks. The small town of Rättvik, right by Lake Siljan, which in the summer offers boat trips, cozy café visits and during the winter provides opportunities for exciting downhill skiing and cross-country skiing.
