Near the cottage, 300 m away, there is a nice beach that offers a refreshing swim.

Norrtälje has a variety of attractions to offer throughout the year and from there can you participate in organized archipelago tours. From Kapellskär you can do a day trip to Åland. It is an hour to both Stockholm and Uppsala car journey.
