High scale holiday home with an outstanding location close to beaches and the protected moor landscape. Quiet area and yet close to everything. The outdoor area enhances the holiday home with a large terrace, garden furniture’s, sunbeds, plus a play area with sandbox and trampoline entertaining the young children. Behind the holiday home is a large recreational area with a green lawn, ready for a soccer match, where mom and dad can be challenged in game of soccer.

The holiday house is newly constructed (2019) – the exterior has beautiful black wood, and the interior is kept in light colors. In connection to the entrance area, there’s an outdoor shower available.

With its 160m2 the holiday home is perfect for the extended family. It has 4 lovely bedrooms and 2 beautiful bathrooms, and even if you are several in the company, no one will stand in line for the shower. The large kitchen-dining-living room is the epicenter of the house, where the beautiful dining room table inspire to many happy hours around the table with family time. Top of the line kitchen design, where there’s provided cozy space for kitchen helpers at the barstools at the kitchen counter island. The sectional smart corner sofa area is delicately furnished with a large sofa plus wall hung flat screen tv. From the kitchen there’s direct access to the outdoor terrace and also direct access to the holiday homes conservatory, where the walls can be rolled back, so the rum can function as a covered terrace. All in all, quite unique and in very beautiful surroundings a holiday can be enjoyed.

In a short distance from the holiday home, you’ll find the Buried Church and the Nature Historical Museum (only open during summer month) in the old train station building Højen Station. In the olden days many summer guests arrived by trains here, on their route to the Beach Hotels in Old Skagen/Højen, where the guest was collected by horse wagon taken to their favorite Beach Hotel.

The surrounding area to the holiday home, inspire to happy strolls and jogging or biking trails in nature authentic heath and dune area. For mountain bikers a 15 km. long MTB-route in Skagen Heath landscape in place, and with start point close by the holiday home. For tennis players, there’s an option to rent a court at the nearby Skagen Tennis Club – only 2 km. distance. If you are golf enthusiasts, we can recommend a game at the beautiful 18-hole Golf Course – Golfklubben Hvide Klit near Aalbæk, approx. 16 km. south of Old Skagen.

As one of many holiday highlights, a beautiful summer sunset should be experienced at the iconic “sunset square” in Old Skagen. Here guests and local meet every evening to admire the most beautiful sunsets, while enjoying a cup of coffee or an ice cream purchased at the Sunset Ice cream outfit.

A visit to Skagen town with a variety of selection of retail stores, boutiques, cafes and restaurants plus a visit to Grenen, Denmark’s nortn most point, where the two seas - Baltic Sea and the North Sea meet. An absolutely must experience. Grab the bike or the car out to the Grenen visitor centers parking lot, and from here board the Sandormen (Tractor bus) the last 700-800 meters, ending at the very tip of Jutland. The children will love it!
