Welcome to a magical place in beautiful Backe near Ramsele and Strömsund in Jämtland County.A beautiful log cabin with high ceilings and panoramic windows overlooking the lake and a sauna down by the lake. In total there are 14 beds in the cottages, of which 10 beds are in Storstugan. In the courtyard there is a larger cottage of 60sqm that has its own kitchen, toilet / shower and there are also two bedrooms with a bunk bed (120/80cm) and 2 80cm beds. The cottage has its own wood stove for heating and cozy factor. To these two houses there is a detached tablehouse with two pcs. showers and toilets. The main cabin is heated with a sea heat pump/wood boiler. As a guest, you can burn if necessary to increase the heat and get even more hot water. A nice feature on holiday. Instructions are available at the property. A sloda with wood is included/week. The farm is beautifully situated with a lake location and views of Jansjön and the Blekamassivet (550 masl) about 5 km away and Landsomberget with ski resort in winter. Fantastic wood-fired sauna by the lake with its own jetty and swimming area. Jansjövidda passes next door and has hiking trails with names like Benknäckaren. Fantastic fishing is available in the lake, with common lake fish and Canadian trout. You can easily get out with the rowing boat that is down by the pier to pull up the really big fish.

Freight trains with timber wagons roll past outside the yard approx. 2 times / daybut according to the owner it is most charming. In Backe about 4 km away is Ica with collection for Systembolaget, Vårdcentral, Apotek, Bilverkstad, Frisör and Pizzeria. Beautiful and popular Rossöns Golf Course is only 6 km from the cottage.
