Welcome to this great holiday home, set in beautiful surroundings near the coastal town of Västervik! The cottage is surrounded by a big garden, and beyond that, a beautiful, open landscape. At the entrance there's a small, roofed terrace with furniture.

The one-storey cottage features a spacious kitchen with a kitchen table that seats four people. There are two comfortable living rooms, in one you will find a single extra bed (a sofa bed), the other functions as a dining room. The bedrooms are light and airy, one of them contains a double bed, the other has a single bed. The bathroom features a WC, a washbasin, a shower, and a washing machine. In the big garden, you will find outdoor furniture, perfect for relaxing on whilst admiring the view and enjoying a nice cup of Swedish coffee! The garden is surrounded by beautiful farming land and pastures, as well as a few neighbouring houses.

There are several beautiful lakes nearby. The owner of the holiday home has a rowing boat which you can rent if you want to take a boat trip and perhaps try your hand at fishing. If you want to fish in the lake (lake Hjorten), you will need to buy a fishing license. The sea (Östersjön) is 15 kilometres away, and fishing is free there.

The picturesque town of Västervik offers shopping, cafés, restaurants, and entertainment. Each summer there's a folk music festival in Västervik. Your cottage is perfectly located for making a number of day trips to many interesting towns. If you are visiting with children, they will really enjoy Astrid Lindgren's World in Vimmerby. Katthult and Bullerbyn, well known from Astrid Lindgren's beloved children's books, are also close. Or why not take a daytrip to Mariannelund and find out how sweets were made in the olden days? The Kingdom of Crystal is another interesting destination. This is where the famous Kosta Boda glass is made.
