This charming timber cottage is located 800 metres in direct line and 1,4 km by car from the majestic Sognefjord with a view of mountain, forest and meadow. There is a lake where you can catch trout only 1,3 km from the house. This is the place for you if you love nature and love a quiet vacation away from the city. The cottage has satellite dish TV with multiple channels covering all of Europe, except Scandinavia. Gulen has a myriad of islands and rocks where you can be all to yourself, fishing, swimming and just enjoy. The sea and the fjord in Gulen is one of the most fish rich areas in Western Norway. Fishing river in Matre. Ideal for day excursions to Bergen (approx. 2 hours) and to sights like stave churches, glaciers, museums along Sognefjorden, the world's longest inhabited fjord. You can drink the water in the cottage but it is a little brownish. Drinking water free of charge available at a farm 500 meters away.
