If you would like to take some excursions during holiday it is about 45 minutes to a 9 hole golf court at Miland. On rainy days you can take a trip to Rjukanbadet with a lot of fun for the whole family. On nicer days it is possible with a daytrip to Bø Sommerland. It is not far to Gaustablikk for exiting mountain hiking or Kongsberg for cultural experiences and a trip out on a restaurant. You can go fishing in Tinnsjøen and by Sandvann. It is great hiking opportunities in this area.
